Loading your personal settings takes over 10 mins

You experience a long delay or pause of over 10 minutes when the "loading your personal settings"
or "applying your personal settings" screen comes on during windows startup

Possible solution:

Open your network connections 
click Advanced, Advanced settings from the menu 

Click the provider order in the tab. 
Under network providers 
'Microsoft Terminal Services' is the first option 
Move that provider to the bottom and the problem usually 
goes away.

Login as the Administrator and navigate to your user account ( c:\documents and settings\<yourname>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows and rename the file call "userclass.dat" to "userclass.old". If you get an error telling you that you can't rename it, the file is in use - that's your problem. Reboot your computer, logon as administrator and try again. Once you have successfully renamed it, try and log on as yourself.
