When you try to print a publication from Microsoft Publisher 2003, you may receive the following error message:
Publisher cannot print this publication. To print composite CMYK
or separations, you must use a printer driver that is set to output PostScript
language level 2 or later.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because Publisher 2003 has been configured to print in composite cyan-magenta-yellow-black (CMYK) mode
only.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
| 1. | Start Publisher 2003. |
| 2. | On the File menu, click
Print. |
| 3. | Click Advanced Print Settings. |
| 4. | Click to clear the Print composite CMYK by
default check box. |
| 5. | Click OK, and then click
Cancel. |
STATUS
Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
